As US Chief Data Officer (CDO) and Audit & Assurance CDO, Carl leads the data strategy and operating model, safeguarding trust, enabling value creation, maximizing cross-business capabilities and driving enterprise efficiencies. He is also a member of the Audit Innovation and Global Transformation Teams.

Carl has worked as a technology executive, specializing in large-scale data transformations leading to measurable business outcomes. He has matured data management, analytics and data governance capabilities across multiple industries, including financial services, consumer products and retail. Carl was named a 2016 Computerworld 100 Premier IT Leader and his business outcomes and data program were awarded the 2014 and 2015 CIO 100 Innovation and TDWI Data Management Best Practice awards.

Carl honorably served in the US Air Force as a Communications and Computer Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University.
